Welcome in spring by learning how to hand paint a floral monogram on your own paper journal! Students will learn a simple but elegant method to create a floral monogram using gouache paints. We will demonstrate how to work with and layer gouache, how to hand-letter flowy capital letters, and ways to customize our monogram using a variety of flowers and leaf shapes. Students of all skill levels will enjoy this easy-going class and walk away with high-quality materials and tools, a better understanding of gouache, and a custom notebook in which to journal, doodle, and memory-keep.

All students will also receive a delicious and delightfully decorated sugar cookie from SugarBot Sweet Shop!

I will supply all the materials you need for this workshop so arrive ready to relax, invite a friend to paint alongside, or enjoy solo to make your journal as a gift to yourself or another (Mother’s Day is the day after — just an idea). :)
